中井坝盐业遗址位于重庆市彭水县郁山镇南京社区2组，地处郁江支流中井河左岸的台地上。为配合郁山古镇旅游综合开发项目建设，2013年5月至7月，重庆市文化遗产研究院对该遗址进行了考古发掘，发掘面积约940平方米，发现各类盐业相关遗迹36座，其中有12座盐灶、5座蓄卤池、2座黄泥加工坑、2座墙体、10个柱洞、1条排水沟、2个灰坑及2条灰沟，出土各类文物标本约200余件。
