本月22日，丹徒一家水泥厂在施工时，无意中发现了一个大型汉代古墓群。当地考古专家随即进驻，并进行了抢救性发掘。据专家初步考证，墓群占地约2万平米，初步发掘汉墓15座。在同一个密集地点存在如此多的汉墓，实属国内罕见。
