内蒙古自治区文物考古研究所考古队近日在凉城县永兴镇发掘一处战国时期墓葬群时，意外地发现了一个特殊的墓葬。墓主人为男性，随葬品数量丰富，达80多件，并出土了一套完整的鞍马具。
这处被称为水泉墓地的墓葬群是今年7月考古人员在进行考古勘探时发现的，墓葬群共有29座墓葬，其中27座为战国中晚期墓葬。整个墓地中，编号为27的墓葬最有特色。
