    2010年大明宫考古工作，仍然是围绕国家“十一五”重点项目大明宫国家遗址公园的建设，以勘探为主，配合相关建设，对施工中发现的遗存进行随工清理和发掘，对发现的各类遗存单位进行全站仪测量，尽力全面收集拆迁区域和建设、施工区内发现的考古信息，包括文化层堆积，遗址和遗物的分布、种类性质，进一步丰富大明宫考古的资料，为大明宫的整体研究积累第一手材料。

    陕北榆林市文物考古勘探队2010年对王圪堵水库移民区进行考古时发现3处古文化遗址，其中2处为仰韶晚期遗址，1处为龙山文化遗址。
