个人简介

1977年毕业于洛阳外语学院。1978年10月至1994年10月在西亚非洲研究所图书资料室工作。1994年10月调至西亚非洲研究所地区研究室，开始从事南部非洲地区研究。该研究室于1995年正式更名为南非研究中心，于12月21日召开成立大会。本人担任该中心副主任。1996年至1999年南非中心出版内部季刊《南非研究》（后更名为《南部非洲研究》）杂志，本人担任该杂志副主编。2003年至2006年被借调到外交部工作，任中国驻肯尼亚大使馆一等秘书、调研室副主任。2005年，南非研究中心的研究人员归并入西亚非洲研究所非洲研究室，本人2006年由驻肯尼亚使馆返所后在非洲研究室，继续从事南部非洲问题研究，与此同时对中非关系中的经济合作问题也有所关注。

1986年-1987年在美国伊利诺大学进修学习

1987年8月-10月先后对津巴布韦、肯尼亚和埃塞俄比亚进行学术访问

2000年5月对日本非洲研究机构进行学术访问

2001年4月-5月先后对埃及、南非进行学术访问

2002年9月-11月访问荷兰莱顿大学非洲研究中心

2006年10月访问韩国仁和大学

2008年8月随同西亚非洲研究所代表团赴赞比亚和南非进行研究考察

2009年11月访问美国波士顿大学非洲研究中心
